Join us for a 100-km bike ride, from East Village to Bragg Creek and back. The Join the Fold Ride Series is meant to attract folding bike enthusiasts; however, all types of bikes and their owners are welcome.

This ride will feature pathway sections when in Calgary and low-traffic volume secondary highways west of the city. We will also be riding on Hwy 22, where a generously wide and paved shoulder mitigates against higher motor traffic volume.

We will stop in Bragg Creek for coffee, baked goods, and made-to-order sandwiches at Lucid Koffee.

The route features climbing to get out of Calgary, a pleasing and gentle descent into Springbank, and some sawtooth climbs to hwy 22 before flatter terrain along 22 to Bragg.

Riders will enjoy views of rolling pastures, Rocky Mountains on the horizon, and a variety of wildlife--maybe even some deer!

Join the fold.

This is a no-drops ride; however, riders should be able to sustain 20 kms/h on flat terrain.

Presenting partner: Calgary Brompton League
