Back by popular demand, we are excited to invite women in Calgary to our second annual Women on Wheels workshop - a discussion on biking, gender and urban environment!

Women on Wheels YYC is an event for women in Calgary to gather over anything and everything related to biking! As a part of our Women and Environment Program we’ve assembled a passionate and knowledgeable panel of women to lead a discussion on various biking-related topics.

In this packed two-hour event, we’ll explore everything from barriers to women biking in Calgary, to the connection between bike pathways and climate resilience.

We’ll start by exploring the different experiences of "Women on Wheels" in Calgary. We will then move into fast-paced “Pecha Kucha,” presentations from women passionate about bikes. Presenters include:
Alix Donnelly - Cyclepalooza Calgary
Molli Bennett - Two Wheel View
Natalie Robertson - Urban Resilience Strategist
Jessica Shumlich - Bike Calgary

More presenters will be announced as they are confirmed!

This is a free event open to anyone who identifies as a woman. Childminding is available for this event for children 19 months to 12 years of age. Please save your child's spot by emailing their name and age to rsvp[at]womenscentrecalgary.org
