Does a midweek urban exploring fun ride with no set route or destination - very likely getting lost or turned around - no drop ride - no hammerheads - good times focused - no strava records though record it if you must - definitely finish at a brewery/distillery/cidery - on roughstuff - singletrack - hobo trails - river paths - and neighbourhood exploration sound like a good time to you?

*** These rides are not beginner rides due to the off pavement terrain we'll likely be riding ***

If so then you should definitely bring your friends and your dirt-capable bicycle and join The Funstuff Crew on Thursday nights this summer. Everyone is welcome but maybe leave the kids at home. We promise nothing more than a goonie adventure ride together, have some laughs, ride some bikes, and enjoy some refreshments when we’re done. And if the weather really sucks we’ll likely just go hang out under a bridge somewhere and have some drinks or whatever. No pressure, except in your tires.

Details:

   Meet weekly at BikeBike on Thursdays at 6pm, depart at 6:30pm

   Expect to bomb around for 2+ hours

   The best bike would be a gravel bike, bikepacking machine, hardtail MTB, touring bike or cyclocross bike. Ride your fixie if you want, we might too

   We’ll decide as a group where to go…we’ll probably change plans midway though…who knows where…expect to have to toss your bike over a fence even…hard to day…it’ll be ok

   After it all we’ll end up somewhere for refreshments. Bring a lock. Lights maybe too. A helmet is a very good idea
