What better way to usher in a new year and decade by gathering with a welcoming community of people who embrace all kinds of bikes, bike habits, weather conditions, and tasty comforts. Join us for a New Year’s Day bicycle ride along the Nose Creek Pathway; enjoy warm conversations, and stay for hot beverages and delicious snacks as we roll into 2020 together.
We’ll ride from the library to the Bow River Pathway and take the north bank east to the Nose Creek Pathway. From there, we’ll ride north on the pathway to 96 Ave NE and take a group photo near to the Blue Ring (public art installation). We’ll return along the same route and stop for coffee/tea and other treats at a café near or around the downtown. Location to be confirmed.
As this is an out-and-back ride, you can turn back whenever you wish to moderate the total distance. Hopefully, we can all regroup on the return trip or at the café.
Total distance is 35 kms. Expect 2 hours of cycling time. We will ride at a leisurely pace and take short breaks on route.
I got studded tires for Xmas – can’t wait!

I’ll be there for my 2nd time!
