East Village Glow & Show

As part of the Cyclepalooza taking place all over Calgary the week of June 24- July 2, East Village will be participating by hosting a Glow Ride, Saturday, June 30th evening starting at Simmons. People are asked to meet at 9:00 PM, with the ride starting at 9:30 PM. The route will follow RiverWalk along the Bow, crossing at the Peace Bridge and then returning to the Plaza. Glow sticks, and prizes will be provided. Following the ride an outdoor movie will project onto the side of Simmons. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and we'll provided the popcorn!
A short bike documentary will start at 10 PM, followed by our main feature THE GOONIES!

I’m curious as to how to carry a lawn/festival chair on a bike. It’s built like a back pack, but I don’t think a big sail like that would be too safe. Suggestions?
